A new and exciting music and live performance festival is soon to arrive in Hull. Join us on Saturday 30th of August to celebrate Hull as the City of Freedom, and the best thing is it's free!
It's official! Hull and East Yorkshire are hosting a stage of the Tour of Britain cycle race for the fifth consecutive year on 11th September 2008.
Celebrity chef and host of BBC2's Ready Steady Cook, Ainsley Harriott, will be taking to the main stage on the Saturday creating mouth watering dishes and sharing expert hints and tips.
The 9th year of acclaimed world music festival takes place in Bridlington with over 40 acts in one indoor venue.
The 2008 festival takes place at the Spa, Bridlington's newly renovated live venue with capacity for 3,500 people and includes two main stages, an acoustic stage, a DJ room, workshop and film programmes, children's festival and a festival bazaar.
