It's official! Hull and East Yorkshire are hosting a stage of the Tour of Britain cycle race for the fifth consecutive year. The new route takes in some of the best urban and rural landscapes that the region has to offer.

Visit the region and experience the excitement of the race and the atmosphere as the crowds gather to cheer on the riders.

 

Hull and East Yorkshire is a fantastic place to cycle, with 70 miles of cycle routes there's plenty of flat land to explore...

Where and when?

Victoria Square

The Yorkshire leg of the race will start at 10.30am on Vernon Street (in front of the Warren Building) on 11th September.

From here the route follows Alfred Gelder Street, right into lowgate / market place, left onto Garrison Road, up to The Deep Roundabout, back round onto Garrison Road and off to the Humber Bridge.
